With a fast 8 week turn around we delivered a fresh new take on Creative Hair's digital image with the main brief to generate online bookings. Well, we certainly did that, from our strategy meeting to conceptual design drafts we worked closely with our client to create a wonderful new to space for their customers to book online and to purchase their favourite beauty products online. Sun Media also developed a fast, localised and broad SEO strategy which has seen the bookings come in hard and fast and new staff needing to be hired – let the scaling begin.
Our initial strategy meeting to understand the client's scope was held onsite and with the salon owners and staff – this gives us a great insight into the brand vibe and target audience sectors. We then separated our different sectors and designed the digital framework to wow these audiences and get them converting in 3 clicks.
After our initial strategy meeting before we started our website design and development process we began to reverse engineer the traffic and conversions to the site by developing a very local and broad SEO strategy to run simultaneously. The keyword research was then done to ensure we were targeting those that convert despite the competition. This means the results came very fast in Google under the local listing for that suburb – in this case just 2 weeks. Whilst at the same time the keywords ranking broadly across the Gold Coast are working hard in the background to be visible on page one in no time.
Working with the client to source and cast the talent we needed to 'bring it' in this shoot was half the fun. We also looked at the user experience for the new website and developed the shoot schedule and deliverables from this. In turn we used a well-known fashion photographer for the shoot to showcase not only the end result of the client's customers but and emotive narrative that goes hand in hand with feeling beautiful.
